Minoshima Water Purification and Photovoltaic Plant

A photovoltaic power system capable of generating 180kW of electricity was installed at the Minoshima Water Purification Plant in March 2012. The Fukuyama City Waterworks and Sewage Bureau installed the photovoltaic plant in order to fulfill its social responsibility to provide public service by reducing the stress of greenhouse gas emissions on the environment and provide an environmentally-conscious education. The Photovolatic Plant is located adjacent to the Minoshima Water Purification Plant, where water is processed for industrial use. You can learn about water purification at this facility as well.
