Fukuyama City Recycling Plantの写真

The Fukuyama City Recycling Plant is a waste processing facility that began service in September 2000 with the purpose of helping to attain a recycling-based society. At the noncombustible waste processing facility, metals from crushed and sorted garbage are compressed and packaged. At the plastic waste processing facility, PET bottles, plastic film, and other bottles that have been sorted by machine and by hand are compressed, packaged, and refined into high quality bales for recycling. In addition, you can see the treatment process for oversized burnable garbage as well as tour the adjacent Minooki landfill, giving you a chance to think about the extended sustainability of landfills and the reusing of waste to create new resources.
